Description

Join us for a beginner-friendly nature writing workshop hosted by a local author. Sharpen your observation skills through fun and engaging writing activities and do some birding along the way. Each participant will leave the workshop with a finished piece of writing. Bring a notebook, a pen or pencil, and your sense of curiosity. All ages and skill levels are welcome.

Hannah Rodabaugh has an MA in literature and an MFA in writing. She is the author of three chapbooks, including We Don't Bury Our Dead When Our Dead Are Animals, a collection of ecological elegies. Her poetry and essays have appeared in Berkeley Poetry Review, ROAR Magazine, Horse Less Review, K’in Literary Journal, and Linden Avenue Literary Journal. She has been an artist-in-residence for the National Park Service and the Bureau of Land Management.

The cost of the workshop is $25 for the public and $15 for GEAS members. If you are a current member, sign in or create an account to access member price.
