Description
Calling all bird enthusiasts! Fluff your feathers and fly on over to the Bluebird Jubilee: A Larson Legacy Fundraiser! We're celebrating the work of Al Larson, co-founder and beloved "Bluebird Man," while raising funds to keep his conservation magic alive.
Nibble on delightful treats like bagels (thank you, Blue Sky Bagels!), pastries, and fruit, and enjoy plenty of mimosas and coffee, along with some soft piano music by Larry Babcock. Try your luck with our fabulous raffle drawing prizes— a dazzling handcrafted bird quilt by Shannan Brimmer, an exclusive birding trip with Terry Rich, and more. These goodies are available only at the event, but we also have an online drawing in our store that is open now until 10:30 a.m., April 25. We'll reveal the lucky winners at the end of our event!
Doors swing open at 10 a.m. with the festivities kicking off shortly after, featuring a screening of Bluebird Man, a heartwarming film about Al's legacy. We'll also crown our first "Bluebird Award" winner and shower them with a special surprise. As a grand finale, we’ll premiere a video spotlighting our Native Plant Network and invite you to pledge your support through the Larson Legacy Fund.
Join us in this joyful gathering of community and storytelling to boost local bird habitat and community science programs—continuing the work Al held close to his heart.
Event tickets are $25. Raffle drawing ticket prices (both online and in-person) will vary depending on item. All drinks and food are included. The event is located at the Atrium at Albertsons Corporate Offices, 250 E Parkcenter Blvd., Boise, a fully accessible facility where there is plenty of parking. A huge thank you to Albertsons and their awesome team for lending us their stunning space and precious time to boost our mission!
