GEAS Member Big Springs Camping and Birding
Admission
- $15.00 - Youth
- $50.00 - Adult
Summary
Description
Golden Eagle Audubon Society and National Audubon Society members are invited to come to the amazing Big Springs Grp Area campground in the Targhee National Forest in Island Park for four days of birding and three nights in camp. The group site is accessible and can accomodate tents and a few small trailers. 30-amp electricity is available for a fee. You can read more about this incredible campground here.
We will work out all the details when we find out who wants to come, what kinds of birds they want to see and how far and high they want to travel. A trip can be planned into Yellowstone National Park if desired, but there's lots of similar habitat without dealing with the crowds. There's fishing, biking, canoeing, relaxing and stargazing too. We will have group dinner in the evenings with some supplies provided by Golden Eagle Audubon.
Families and children of all ages are welcome.
Registration fee: $50 per adult, $15 for child 7-17, free for child 0-6. No discount if you only come for one or two nights.
You need to log into the Constituent Login Portal to access registration. Our system will know if you're a current member. You'll find it at the VERY bottom of www.goldeneagleaudubon.org.
Please contact us at info@goldeneagleaudubon.org if you want help. Don't give up, we'll get you registered.
